Exercise and fitness are on the programme every day for all sports lovers at the 5* Hotel Salzburgerhof. The daily free activity programme ranges from yoga sessions to invigorating Nordic Walking excursions in the magnificent nature around Zell am See.

Yoga
Hatha Yoga
Hatha Yoga is a holistic practice that harmonizes body, mind, and spirit, bringing them into perfect balance. In each asana (posture), posture, breath, and relaxation are balanced in a unique way. The asanas focus on the health of the spine and the central nervous system. Another essential element of every yoga practice is the final deep relaxation.
Pranayama / Breathing Exercises
Pranayama trains the respiratory muscles, ensures that the lung capacity is fully utilized, improves oxygen supply, and lowers the carbon dioxide level in the blood. Controlling the breath stimulates the flow of prana (energy) and literally recharges the body and mind.
Meditation
Meditation promotes mental and emotional balance and leads to deep inner peace. During meditation, the outside world and its distractions fade completely into the background, and the parasympathetic nervous system (the body's "rest and digest" system) gently promotes relaxation and harmony.

Qi Gong
18 Movements:
"Shibashi," the 18 Movements of Harmony, is a system for moving Qi (energy) within the body. It promotes vitality, reduces stress, strengthens muscles, joints, and the circulatory system, and stimulates the organs. With regular practice, the body's self-healing powers can be activated.
8 Daily Exercises:
The 8 daily exercises were developed from classical Chinese health exercises and, in part, from self-defense techniques. Meridians and joints are activated, tendons are stretched, and muscles are trained. Due to their specific movement patterns, they not only act as gymnastic exercises but also influence the flow of Qi.

Pilates
A holistic body training program focusing on torso/core stabilization, based on yoga exercises, that trains both body and mind.

Back fitness
Gentle mobilization, stretching, and strengthening exercises specifically for the shoulder, neck, and lower back. The focus of these back-fit exercises is primarily on making the spine flexible and keeping ligaments and tendons mobile, thus counteracting or preventing tension. Simple exercises that you can take home for inspiration!
Sound bowl meditation
Relaxing with singing bowls can not only bring about deep relaxation and tranquility, but also release emotional blockages and tension. The sound, with its vibrations, can also alleviate mental and emotional pain.

Guided hikes in summer
Guided hikes in the beautiful natural surroundings of Zell am See, with a walking time of approximately 2.5 hours, are offered 1-2 times per week during the summer.
Breathing school
Conscious breathing can change lives. It can relieve pain, resolve digestive problems, and strengthen the brain and immune system.
