40 years of the Salzburgerhof

It is astonishing how time flies – it is almost enough to make you melancholy. Yet not quite – for the 40th anniversary of our Salzburgerhof is definitely a reason to celebrate. And we would like you, dear guest, to celebrate with us.

It is hard to believe that the small, inconspicuous guest house we bought in 1967 quickly established itself as the leading holiday address in the European sports region of Zell am See-Kaprun. We had the good fortune to meet guests who appreciate our hospitality and who encouraged us in our visions. The first hotel swimming pool in 1976 was one of these dreams-turned-reality which gradually advanced the Salzburgerhof to the best establishment in the town. This claim was officially recognised when the hotel was awarded its five stars – still the only one in the entire region today. With the enlargement of the park and the creation of the wellness castle in 1999 we set the most decisive, forward-looking trends which make us the leading Austrian establishment in the fields of relaxation and beauty. We aim to celebrate this in 2007 – with you, of course!
